It was one year ago since we’ve launched. Phew! It’s been all crazy! Before the launch last year we imagined that we’d spend the first month struggling to get topics to talk about as well as photos to support them and then eventually we’ll get tired & give up. But it didn’t turn out that way: instead, we’re proud that we’ve actually been able to keep up a fair pace of posting about various matters that our fashionable readers care about.
June was fast approaching when we realized that we’re almost a year old and we’ve decided to throw a party celebrating our year of success! We got in touch with Shaikha Farah AlKhalifa – owner of the hip boutique Green Diamond – who introduced us to the amazing team behind Obai and Hill whom the help of our vision of a festive celebration became a reality.
On Saturday, June 22nd Alanoud and I welcomed our guests at Green Diamond boutique at Seef mall. We promised a fun event & a fun event was served over brunch and a shopping spree. The guest list included Bahrain based and saudi based fashion bloggers, artists, photographers, our family members and of course our personal friends. We were lucky enough to have Dana Khalid as our event photographer, who did a great job covering the highlights of the event.
